The Tithe Bar was orginally a tithe barn for the Northallerton district, used to store wheat & agricultural produce paid as ‘ tithes’ for the Bishopric of Durham. Now a friendly Pub and restaurant the ground floor bar area is spacious, yet divided into three intimate areas, creating a very welcoming ambience. All their food is freshly prepared, with menus featuring tavern classics, sharing platters and gourmet burgers. Their menu offers a ‘grazing’ style of eating whilst enjoying a beer, but also caters for more a traditional 3 course dining experience too.
